Add new office locations

Follow these steps to add a new office location. 
  1. Select
    FileRoom
    ,
    Admin
    ,
    Account Setup
    , then
    Office Location
    .
    Select ACCOUNT SETUP then Office Location.
  2. Select
    New Office Location
    .
    Select New Office Location.
  3. When a new row appears, enter your office location into the following fields:
    Column name

    Provide an alias that your firm users can use to identify the correct office location.
    The
    Office Location
    name you assign will appear as an option when selecting an office location for binders and TaxCaddy clients.

    The initial 5 digits followed by a hyphen (dash) and another 4 digits (for example, 12345-6789).

    column values or reorder the column sequences.
    The following changes apply to foreign addresses:

    are required to calculate sales tax. You can't use commas or other special characters when adding office locations (for example !,.;"*).
  4. Select
    Save
    Save icon..
Saved office locations will appear in TaxCaddy, FileRoom, GoFileRoom, and API submissions.

You can enable office restrictions to permit access to FileRoom binders and TaxCaddy Client Profiles only to users that have the same office location as the client.
