Add new office locations

Follow these steps to add a new office location. 
  1. Select
    FileRoom
    ,
    Admin
    ,
    Account Setup
    , then
    Office Location
    .
    Select ACCOUNT SETUP then Office Location.
  2. Select
    New Office Location
    .
    Select New Office Location.
  3. When a new row appears, enter your office location into the following fields:
    Column name
    Required?
    Description
    Sample
    Office Location
    YES
    Provide an alias that your firm users can use to identify the correct office location.
    The
    Office Location
     name you assign will appear as an option when selecting an office location for binders and TaxCaddy clients.

    Enter the exact office location address.

    Select a country from the dropdown menu.

    This field is used for billing purposes.

    Enter the city's name.

    If the country is the US, then the ZIP Code format must be 9 digits:
    The initial 5 digits followed by a hyphen (dash) and another 4 digits (for example, 12345-6789).

    Don’t modify the
    Office Location
     column values or reorder the column sequences.
    The following changes apply to foreign addresses:

    Enter the full name instead of abbreviations (for example, enter London instead of LDN)

    ZIP Codes for foreign addresses can be alphanumeric values (no max limit),

    Zip Code
    are required to calculate sales tax. You can't use commas or other special characters when adding office locations (for example !,.;"*).
  4. Select
    Save
     Save icon..
Saved office locations will appear in TaxCaddy, FileRoom, GoFileRoom, and API submissions.
note
You can enable office restrictions to permit access to FileRoom binders and TaxCaddy Client Profiles only to users that have the same office location as the client.
