Create custom groupings

You can use custom grouping to change how you view FileRoom by grouping binders together if they have the same data in the considered column.

To create groups, drag column headers to the grouping area above the columns in FileRoom.

The grouping area displays under the Sureprep toolbar with the heading "Drag a column header and drop it here to group by that column."

You can also drag multiple column headers to the grouping area to create nested groups.

For example, you can drag Client Name
, followed by the Service
and Status
columns. You could view the following details:

Client Name
(for example, Benjamin Emory

Service
(for example, 1040 SCAN PRO)

Status
(for example, Done or In Verification)

To remove a column from the custom group, select the X
next to the column name you want to remove.
