Restore tax files for ProSystem fx Tax

When a binder is completed, you'll need to download the ProSystem fx Tax files from FileRoom and restore them to ProSystem fx Tax.
  1. Download the ProSystem fx Tax files from FileRoom.
  2. Open
    ProSystem fx Tax.
    Open ProSystem fx Tax
    Production Processing
     window will appear.
    Production Processing window
  3. Go to 
    File
    , then
    Transfer Clients
    .
    Select Transfer Clients
  4. The
    Transfer Returns In
     window will open.
    • Tax Year
      : Select the tax year.
    • Tax Product
      : Select the engagement type.
    • Data drive
      : Select the drive letter in which a work directory resembling
      x:\fx\15\ud\999999
       resides in.
    • Account Number
      : Your 6 digit ProSystem fx umber.
    Transfer Returns In window
  5. Select
    OK
    .
  6. Select the client you want to restore under
    Returns
     and select
    Add
    .
    Select a client from the Returns panel and select Add
  7. When all the returns that need to be restored have been listed under
    Returns selected for transfer
    , select
    Transfer
    .
    Select Transfer
  8. To replace the proforma'd version of the tax return, set
    Rtn version
     to
    1
    .
    Select 1 as the Rtn version from the dropdown
  9. The
    Batch Log
     window will open confirming the transfer. Select
    Close
    .
