Verify UltraTax CS Data Location for deliverables
Firms using UltraTax CS may have more than 1 UltraTax Firm ID or multiple data locations set up for different offices. To fetch deliverables, find your Account Number (example:
UltraTax CS FIRM ID
) and ALIAS
(for data locations) set up at Admin > ACCOUNT SETUP > Tax File Activation Web
.
When you initiate fetch deliverables, you will get a confirmation window if your firm has more than 1
Tax Software Account Number
or Data Location
set up. Due to multiple data locations, you need to provide the correct information to locate the client and fetch the deliverables.- Select theTAX SOFTWARE ACCOUNT NUMBER(such as your UltraTax Firm ID)
- SelectALIAS FOR DATA LOCATIONwhere your client's data is stored.
- SelectCONFIRM.
If you're unsure about which
Data Location
to select, open UltraTax CS then go to File > Open Client
. Find your client's Data Location
alias field.
