Restore tax files for UltraTax CS (Virtual Office CS or SaaS)

After a binder is exported, it will create a new ENCR file at the path displayed in the export window. You'll need to restore this file into UltraTax CS (Virtual Office CS or SaaS).
  1. When exporting data, you can select
    Setup
     to select a folder path. Note the selected folder path (that is,
    J:\Ultra Exported Files\I5USDEMOULT1.encr
    )
    Notification that the process completed
  2. Open
    UltraTax CS
    .
  3. Select 
    File
    , then
    Restore
    .
    Restore in the File menu
  4. The
    Restore
     window will open.
    Restore window
  5. Select 
    Client XML
    .
    Client XML option
  6. Select the client you want to restore on the left, and choose
    Select
    .
    Select Select from the Restore window
  7. Select 
    Restore
    .
    Select Restore
