Canon scanner setup

Backup Canon DR-M260 and Canon DR-C240 with CaptureOnTouch V5 Pro

Canon DR-C240 and Canon DR-M260 follow the same backup process.
Once you've created the profile and finished the manual settings, complete the following steps to make a backup:
  1. Open your device’s
    Start
     menu and open
    CaptureOnTouch V5 Pro
     from the program list.
    Select CaptureOnTouch V5 Pro
  2. Within the taskbar, select the
    CaptureOnTouch
     scanner icon.

  3. From the
    CaptureOnTouch
     menu, select
    Select Scanner
     Select  Select Scanner
  4. Once the
    Select Scanner
     window checkbox appears, select either
    Canon DR-C240
     or
    Canon DR-M260
     and select
    OK
    .
    Select either Canon DR-C240 or Canon DR-M260
  5. Within
    CaptureOnTouch
    , select
    New document
     at the top of the window. Select New document
  6. Once a
    New document
     option appears in the
    Select document
     section, select the
    Pencil
     icon. Select Edit icon
  7. Select the
    Enable
     checkbox located in the
    Use advanced settings dialog box
     section. Use advanced settings dialog box section
  8. After you’ve selected the
    Enable
     checkbox, select
    Setting
    . Select Setting
  9. Once the
    Scanner setting
     window checkbox appears, select
    SurePrep
     and then
    Back Up(X)
    . Select Back Up(X)
  10. When the
    Save As
     window appears, enter
    SurePrep
     as the
    File Name
    , and then select
    Save
    . File Explorer
