Canon DR-C240 with Capture Perfect 3.1

You can use Capture Perfect 3.1 to create PDF files for 1040SCAN. After installing Capture Perfect 3.1, follow these steps:

To open Capture Perfect 3.1, select

Start
Programs
Capture Perfect 3.1

On the Scan
menu, select Select Scanner
.

When the Select Scanner
window appears, select Canon DR-C240
and select OK
.

On the Scan
menu, select Scanner Setting

Adjust the following settings on the Scanner Setting
window:

Color mode:
Advanced Text Enhancement Page Size:
Letter Dots per inch:
300 dpi Scanning Side:
Simplex

The Duplex scanning side doesn’t work with these settings. SurePrep works with Canon Support to accomplish the optimum scanning result.

Select the Brightness
tab, then select the Gamma
button.

When the Gamma Settings
window appears, adjust the following settings, then select OK

Select the Image processing
tab, then adjust the following settings: Character Emphasis:
Center Color drop-out:

Select the Feeding
tab, then adjust the following settings: Double Feed Detection:
Detect by Ultrasonic Feeding Option:
Standard Feeding Carrier sheet(b):
None

Select the Others
tab, then adjust the following settings:

Documentation Orientation:
0 degrees Batch Separation:
None Compression ratio for saving:
75 Rapid recovery system:
Uncheck Use MultiStream:
