Canon DR-M260 with Capture Perfect 3.1

Use Capture Perfect 3.1 to create PDF files, which will be uploaded to 1040SCAN. After installing Capture Perfect 3.1, follow these steps.
  1. Open Capture Perfect 3.1 by selecting
    Start
    Programs
    Capture Perfect 3.1
    Capture Perfect 3.1
    .
    Select Capture Perfect 3.1
  2. Select
    Scan
    then
    Select Scanner
    .
    Select Select Scanner
  3. A window appears listing the
    Scanner Name
    . Select
    Canon DR-M200
    then
    OK
    .
    Select Canon DR-M200 then OK
  4. Select
    Scan
    then
    Scanner Setting
    .
    Select Scanner Setting
  5. When the
    Canon DR-M200 Series on STI-0002
    window appears, adjust the settings:
    Color mode:
    Active Threshold
    Dots per inch:
    300 dpi
    Page Size:
    Match original size
    Scanning Side:
    Skip blank page.

  6. Select the
    Brightness
    tab, then the
    Gamma
    button.
    Brightness
    : 100
    Contrast
    : 129
  7. The
    Gamma Settings
    window appears. Adjust the settings to the following and then
    OK
    .
    Custom:
    Uncheck the box to disable the Gamma setting then select
    OK
    .
  8. Select the
    Image processing
    tab and adjust the settings to the following:
    Color drop-out:
    None
    Character Emphasis:
    Low
    Remove Shadow:
    Check the box
    Image processing tab
  9. Select the
    Image control
    tab and adjust the settings to the following:
    Edge emphasis:
    None
    Moire Reduction:
    None
    Erase Dot:
    Check the box
    Erase Notch
    : Check the box
    Color unevenness reduction:
    Check the box
    Configure your settings in the Image Control tab
  10. Select the
    Feeding
    tab and adjust the settings to the following:
    Document type:
    Plain paper
    Feeding Option:
    Standard Feeding
    Feeding tab
  11. Select the
    Error Detection
    tab and adjust the settings to the following:
    Detect by Ultrasonic:
    Check the box
    Skew Detection:
    Check the box
    Paper Feed error detection:
    Check the box
  12. Select the
    Others
    tab and adjust the settings to the following:
    Documentation Orientation:
    0 degrees
    Batch Separation:
    None
    Otherstab
  13. Once the above settings are done, select
    Save
    .
    Select Save
  14. The
    Save User Preference
    window appears. Enter
    SurePrep
    and select
    OK
    .
    Select OK
  15. Select
    OK
    at the bottom of the screen to save these settings for your SurePrep profile.
    Select OK
  16. Select
    Scan
    then
    Scan Batch to file
    .
    Select Scan Batch to file
  17. Save the file by selecting the location of your choice as shown:
    File Explorer
  18. The saved PDF (Test Scan Pages) will appear as shown below:
    SurePrep Scan Test document
