Reprinting PDF to SurePrep specifications

You'll want to scan a PDF file according to SurePrep recommendation for optimal OCR results. If your PDF wasn't scanned to these specifications, you can reprint the PDF before submitting it to SurePrep.

Reprinting PDFs will flatten the document. You will no longer be able to edit fillable fields, and comments will be removed.
Follow these steps to reprint a PDF according to SurePrep PDF:
  1. In the PDF, go to
    File
    and select
    Print
    .
  2. In the
    Print
    window, select
    Adobe PDF
    from the
    Printer
    field.
    Select Adobe PDF
  3. Select
    Properties
    next to the
    Printer
    field.
    Select Properties
  4. Go to the
    Paper/Quality
    tab and select
    Black & White
    .
  5. Select
    Advanced
    .
    Select Advanced
  6. Expand the dropdown menu for
    Graphic
    and change the
    Print Quality
    to
    300dpi
    .
    Select a Print Quality
  7. Select
    OK
    , the
    OK
    again to save your changes.
  8. Select
    Print
    .
    Select Print
  9. Choose your file location then select
    Save
    .
The PDF will be reprinted to your selected destination.
