Assign members from SPbinder
A binder can have one or more members. By default, a binder will have one member - the owner. You can add additional members or change the owner from FileRoom, SPbinder, and TaxCaddy.
Assign Members
You can give access to the binder to one or more members using the
Assign Members
feature.To give access to the binder, select
Edit
, then Assign Members
.

If
Assign Members
is not enabled it won’t appear on the Edit
menu or the toolbar. To enable Assign Members
, go to Account Admin
, Enterprise Features
, Assigned Members Only
and then select the Allow only assigned members to access SPbinder
checkbox. You can also select the
Assign Members
icon on the toolbar.
An admin needs to assign your user group permissions to assign/change owner and member. Alternatively, an admin can assign you to an existing user group with proper permissions.
Assign Members:
When the
Assign Member
window appears, select the checkbox for members you want to grant access rights from the Assign Members
list.
The Search option lets you search the members from the
.
Assign Members
list. Enter the name of the member and select the Search
icon 
To grant access to the binder to all members in the list, select
Select All
.
Select the
Notify Members
checkbox to send an email notification to the members you selected for access rights.
Select
Save
to complete the action or select Cancel
to close without assigning members.
The assigned members only receive an email if
Notify Members
is selected.
The count of number of members assigned to this binder will be displayed on the
Assign Member
icon.
Assign/Change Owner
:To Assign/Change Owner, select the
from the dropdown will populate all the names under the User Group within the domain. You can change the owner from the dropdown list.

If you haven’t been assigned permissions by the Admin, then this section will be disabled and grayed out.
Members/Owners can also be assigned from FileRoom.
