Workflow

The SPbinder is split into 3 main components:
  • Index/Review Tree
  • Document Viewer
  • Forms/Leads/Notes

Index/Review Tree

The
INDEX TREE
 tab allows you to place documents into their designated categories. Documents scanned through OCR will automatically be associated in the
INDEX TREE
 unless the document is unrecognized or unmatched.
The 
REVIEW TREE
 tab allows you to review binder documents based on various stages of the review process.

Document viewer

Document Viewer
 allows you to view a document with Annotations and Sign-off levels. The
Thumbnail
 panel allows you to view documents specified by the filter.
Breadcrumb path on top of the
Document Viewer
 window allows you to see the current document location on the
INDEX TREE
.

Forms/Leads/Notes

The
Forms/Leads/Notes
window is divided into 3 tabs:

Description
FORMS
  • Classic Leadsheets
Allows you to add, edit, and delete information captured by OCR or the preparer. By updating the
FORMS
tab, you also update Leadsheets and the information exported to the tax software.
LEADS
  • Classic Leadsheets
  • Simplified Leadsheets
Allows you to review tax document data. Shows you a holistic view of the binder amounts and their totals. 
NOTES
  • Classic Leadsheets
  • Simplified Leadsheets
  • None (No Leadsheets)
Allows you to add notes to the binder that can help reviewers and preparers. You can also add notes to specific workpapers.
