1040 Leadsheets checklist
- Make sureImport TRis done from GoSystem Tax RS/CCH Axcess Tax before reconciling the variances in leadsheets.
- Leadsheets variances need to be explained in the following sequence:
- Form 1040 Page1
- Schedule A
- Form 1040 Page2
- Filing Status in SPbinder should match with the tax software.
- Check if the Date of Birth entered in SPbinder for Taxpayer and Spouse is in the following format MM\DD\YYYY
- Check the reference type (that is, Red, Blue Orange).
Use Red and Orange references for leadsheets calculations.
Don’t use Blue references in leadsheets calculations. - Check if the input in SPbinder and the tax software is entered correctly when reconciling the variance in leadsheets.
- Check fields with the dagger†sign, the user should enter the data manually from the tax software into the leadsheets.
- Fields with the(T/R)sign indicates that the amount will be populated through theImport TRprocess.
- In the group references field, check the field where default codes are selected. You can also switch the default code back and forth and regenerate the leadsheets.
- InForm 1040 Page 1,Per LeadsheetAGI needs to be tallied withPer Tax ReturnAGI.
- If a Child activity data doesn’t transfer to the Parent Form then please check the attachment code in the Child activity input form whether it has been selected or not for ,Form 2106,Form 8829.
- If there is a variance inForm 2441andForm 8863, make sure Form Schedule SE sheet is manually filled in leadsheets as per the tax software
