Questionnaire Settings (Generate DRL and Personal Info)

You can update your firm's settings regarding your questionnaire. In the questionnaire settings, you'll have the option to send the
Confirm Personal Information
task to your clients at the same time you send them a questionnaire. You'll also have the option to automatically request a document based on your clients' responses to a specific question from the questionnaire template.

Enabling the Questionnaire DRL

Follow these steps to enable the Questionnaire DRL feature for your firm:
  1. Log in to TaxCaddy.
  2. Select
    Administrative
    then select
    QUESTIONNAIRE
    .
  3. Select the
    Settings
    tab.
  4. In
    Questionnaire Settings
    , select
    ON
    to enable Questionnaire DRL.
What's Next?
Once enabled, you can set up the desired questionnaire answers with the ability to automatically generate a new DRL item based on the taxpayer's response.

Personal Info Settings

Follow these steps to enable the
Confirm Personal Info
task for your firm:
  1. Navigate to the
    Settings
    tab of your
    QUESTIONNAIRE
    .
  2. Under
    Personal Info Settings
    , select the
    Request Personal Information
    checkbox to send your clients the
    Confirm Personal Information
    task at the same time they're sent your firm's questionnaire.
