APIC Pool Amounts

In the
DATA ENTRY
 list, you select the
APIC Pool Amounts
 component to enter federal and jurisdiction data. The APIC Pool data entry page keeps track of the activity in the APIC Pool and appears in the
APIC Pool Report
.

The
APIC Pool Amounts
 page and
Report
 are available in the components list only when an administrator activates the system parameter.
  1. Use the
    UNIT SELECTED
     drop-down list to select a unit.
  2. Enter the data for
    APIC
     amounts,
    SUSPENSE
    amounts, and
    Rates
    .
note
Enter all amounts in Reporting currency.

General Information

Here are some points to consider before selecting data entry fields:
  • Include documents with supplement detail for your data entry by using
    MANAGE ATTACHMENTS
    .
  • The windfalls and shortfalls from FAS 123R Stock Option Exercise are measured against the APIC Pool to determine the required provision treatment.
  • Track the Deferred Tax Asset related to the issuance of stock options (Amortized Compensation) with the related APIC Pool.
