Modifying Data Entries

In
DATA ENTRY
, make modifications by adding, editing, deleting, importing, and exporting (template) data:
  1. In Review & Edit, select a dataset in the
    BASE DATASET
    list.
  2. Select a
    DATA ENTRY
    page from the list. The grid for the selected BASE DATASET and DATA ENTRY page opens.
  3. Select the
    Refresh
    icon if an entry number is highlighted in orange.

    You may not see the Common Actions icon if your User Roles does not have the correct permissions.
  4. Select the options below to modify an entry.
    • Add
      : Select from the drop-down lists or type data for the fields highlighted in blue. After saving entries, you can modify fields highlighted in blue.
    • Delete
      : Click in any field on a row (except the Data Source field) that you want to delete, and then select
      Delete
      .

      Selecting
      Delete
      without selecting any entries lets you delete all entries from all component data entry grid pages. All entries are deleted from the data entry grid pages for that dataset and unit.
    • Import
      : Follow the
      Data Entry Import
      wizard.
    • Export
      : Follow the
      Export
      wizard.

      You can also use ONESOURCE Workpapers to import (SET) and export (GET) adjustment data.
  5. Select
    SAVE CHANGES
    to save the entry.

When adding, you cannot save the entry until you make the required selections in the fields highlighted in blue.
After you modify your data entry, use the grid for Adding Attachments and review your entry's Reviewing Data Source History.
