Update your user info (profile picture, name, and email address)

When you update your email address in TaxCaddy, you will receive a verification email at your new email address. You must the
Verify My Email Address
 button in the email to verify your new email address. If you don't verify your new email address, then your email address won’t update in TaxCaddy.
TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac, or tablet
Follow these steps to update your profile picture when using TaxCaddy.com on your PC, Mac, or tablet.
  1. Sign in to TaxCaddy.com. Select the
    User Menu
    , then select
    Settings
    .
    Select Settings
  2. Personal Info
     should be selected by default.
    note
    If you are accessing TaxCaddy using a sign in link from your tax professional, the ability to update your Personal Info records won't be available until you create a password for your account.
    Select Settings then Personal Info
  3. To update your profile picture, select the profile picture placeholder.
    Select the Profile Picture field
  4. Select an image from your device. Profile picture-recommended size is 150px by 150px and either a JPG or PNG.
  5. You can rotate your image, zoom in, and zoom out to adjust your profile image. Once you're satisfied, select
    Save
    .
    Edit the profile picture, then select Save
  6. The image is now uploaded and saved.

  7. To update your name or email address, select in the fields, enter the updated information, and select
    Save
    .
    note
    If you update your email address, you will receive a verification email at your new address. Select the
    Verify My Email Address
     button in the email to change your email address.
    Update your email address then select Save
  8. Verify your password then select
    Submit
    .
    Enter your password to confirm the update
  9. If you changed your email address, you will receive a verification email at your new address. Select
    Verify My Email Address
     to change your email address. If you don't verify your new email address, your address won't be changed.
    note
    The link sent to verify your email address expires in 30 days.
    Select Verify My Email Address
  10. If you didn’t receive a verification email after changing your email address, then select
    RESEND VERIFICATION
     to send the verification email again.

iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to update your user info when using the iPhone mobile phone app.
  1. Select
    More
     on the navigation tab bar, then select
    Settings
    .
    Select More then Settings
  2. Under the
    User
     section, select
    Update Info
    .
    note
    If you are accessing TaxCaddy using a sign in link from your tax professional, the ability to change your
    Update Info
     records won't be available until you create a password for your account.
    Select Update Info
  3. To update your profile picture, select and hold the profile picture placeholder.
    Select the profile picture field
    If you only want to update your profile picture, you can select and hold the picture on the
    Overview
     screen.
    Select the profile picture from Overview
  4. Select a photo from your device.
    Select the new profile picture
  5. The new profile picture will replace the previous image.

  6. To update your name or email, Select in the fields, enter the updated information, then select
    Save
    .
    note
    If you update your email address, you will receive a verification email at your new address. Select the

  7. Enter your password, then select
    Update
    .
    Provide your TaxCaddy password then select Update
  8. If you changed your email address, you will receive a verification email at your new address. Select

     to change your email address. If you don’t verify your new email address, your address won't be changed.

    The link sent to verify your email address expires in 30 days.

Android mobile app
Follow these steps to update your profile picture when using the Android mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app, then select the
    Menu
     icon.
    Select the Android Menu icon
  2. Select
    Settings
    .
    Select Settings
  3. Select
    Update Info
    .
    note
    If you are accessing TaxCaddy using a sign in link from your tax professional, the ability to change your
    Update Info
     records will be not available until you create a password for your account.
    Select Update Info
  4. To update your profile picture, select and hold the profile picture placeholder.

    If you only want to update your profile picture, you can select and hold the picture on the
    Overview
     screen.

  5. Select a photo from your device.

  6. Adjust your image by using zoom, pinch, and drag gestures, then select
    SAVE
    .
    Edit your profile picture then select SAVE
  7. The new profile picture will replace the previous image.

  8. To update your name or email, enter the updated information into the fields, then select the check mark.

    If you update your email address, you will receive a verification email at your new address. Select the
    Verify My Email Address
     button in the email to change your email address.
    Update user records then select Save
  9. Enter your password, then select
    OK
    .
    Enter your password then select OK
  10. If you changed your email address, you will receive a verification email at your new address. Select
    Verify My Email Address
     to change your email address. If you don’t verify your new email address, your address won't be changed.
    note
