Delete documents

TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac, or tablet
Follow these steps to delete a document when using TaxCaddy.com on your PC, Mac, or tablet.
  1. Sign in to TaxCaddy.com.
  2. From the
    Overview
     screen, select
    Documents
    .
    Select Documents from the navigation bar
  3. If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account for trust/estate, you can select the correct profile from the
    TAX RETURN
     dropdown.
    Select from the TAX RETURN menu
  4. Select
    Uploaded Documents
    .
    Select Uploaded Documents from the Documents tab
  5. Select the
    Menu
     icon on the document tile.
    Select the document menu
  6. Select
    Delete
    .
    Select Delete
  7. A window asking if you are sure you want to delete this document. Select
    Yes
    . The document is removed from the account.
    Select Yes to confirm the document deletion
iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to delete a document using the iPhone mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. Tap the
    Documents
     icon on the navigation bar.
    Select Documents from the navigation bar
  3. Select the tax year.
    Select tax year from the menu
  4. If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account for trust/estate, use the
    Tax Return
     dropdown to select the tax return profile.
    Select from the Tax Return dropdown
  5. Go to the
    Uploaded
     tab to view uploaded documents.
    Select Uploaded
  6. Select the
    Menu
     icon next to the document you want to rename.
    Select the document menu
  7. Select
    Delete
    .
    Select Delete
  8. A window appears asking if you are sure you want to delete this document. Select
    Yes
    . TaxCaddy confirms the document was deleted.
    Select Yes to confirm the document deletion
Android mobile app
Follow these steps to delete a document using the Android mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. Select the
    Menu
     icon.
    Select the Android Menu icon
  3. Select
    Tax Documents
    .
    Select Tax Documents
  4. If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account for trust/estate, use the
    Tax Return
     dropdown to select the tax return profile.
    Select a tax return from the TAX RETURN dropdown
  5. Select
    UPLOADED
    .
    Select the UPLOADED tab
  6. Select the
    Menu
     icon next to the document you want to delete.
    Select the document menu
  7. Select
    Delete
    .
    Select Delete
  8. A window appears asking if you are sure you want to delete this document. Select
    OK
    . TaxCaddy confirms the document was deleted.
    Select OK to confirm the document deletion
