Message your tax professional about your invoice

You can discuss your invoice with your tax professional by sending messages from the message panel when viewing an invoice, which creates a new thread associated with that document in Messages.
TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac, or tablet
Follow these steps to message your tax professional regarding your invoice using TaxCaddy.com on your PC, Mac, or tablet.
  1. Sign in to TaxCaddy.com
  2. Invoices uploaded to your account will be listed in the
    Task List
     found in the
    Overview
     screen under
    TAX RETURNS & PAYMENTS
    .

  3. Select a tile to view the invoice.
    Select an invoice from the Task List
  4. The selected invoice will appear in the
    Overview
     screen's document viewer.

  5. Select the
    Message
     icon at the top to open the
    Messages
     panel for the selected tax payment document.
    note
    The title of the selected invoice will appear at the top of the panel.
    Select the Message icon
  6. On the
    Messages
     panel, type your message into the textbox, then select
    SEND
    . Your tax professional's reply appears in the thread on this panel. The message thread is also accessible from the
    Messages
     page on the navigation panel.

    The thread will also be accessible through the
    Messages
    tab.

  7. Alternatively, when viewing an invoice in the
    Invoices
     tab you can use the
    Messages
     panel to send a message to your tax professional.

iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to view your tax payment voucher on your iOS mobile phone app.
  1. Open an invoice for viewing.
  2. When you see the invoice open on the PDF Viewer screen, select the
    Message
     icon.
    Select the Message icon when viewing the Invoice document
    Your Tax Professional's reply appears in the thread section. The thread is also accessible from the
    Messages
     section.
Android mobile app
Follow these steps to pay invoices on your Android mobile phone app.
  1. Open an invoice for viewing.
  2. Once you see the invoice open on the PDF Viewer screen, select the
    Message
     icon.
    Select the Message icon when viewing the Invoice document
    Your Tax Professional's reply appears in the thread section. The thread is also accessible from the
    Messages
     section.
