Send a message about the questionnaire

Discuss the questionnaire with your tax professional by sending messages on the
Questionnaire
 screen. This creates a new thread associated with the questionnaire in
Messages
.
TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac, or tablet
Follow these steps to send a message about the questionnaire using TaxCaddy.com on your PC, Mac, or tablet.
  1. Sign in to TaxCaddy.com. Select
    Overview
     on the main navigation bar to go to the
    Overview
     screen.
    Select Overview from the navigation bar
  2. In the
    Tax Pro Requests
     panel, select the questionnaire request.
    Select the Questionnaire task from the Task List
  3. The questionnaire opens next to the
    Task List
    . Select the
    Message
     icon in the
    [Tax Year] Questionnaire
     panel.
    Select the Message icon
  4. Enter your message, then select
    SEND
    . The number at the bottom indicates the number of characters remaining. Your tax professional's reply appears in the thread on this panel. This message thread will also be accessible in Messages.
    Enter your message to your tax professional then select SEND
iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to undo actions using Latest Activity on the iPhone mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. Select the
    Questionnaire
     under the task list.
    Select the Questionnaire task from the Task List
  3. Select the
    Message
     icon.
    Select the Message icon
  4. Enter your message then select the
    Send
     icon when finished. You'll see the number of characters you can use.
    Enter your message then select SEND
Android mobile app
Follow these steps to send messages from the questionnaire on the Android mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. Select the
    Questionnaire
     under the
    GATHER & PREPARE
    .
    Select the Questionnaire task from the Task List
  3. Select the
    Message
     icon.
    Select the Message icon
  4. Enter your message and select the
    Send
     icon when finished. You'll see the number of characters you can use.
    Enter your message then select the SEND icon
