Delete a tax payment voucher

Unpaid tax payment vouchers can be deleted from the
Tax Payments
 screen.
TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac, or tablet
Follow these steps to delete your tax payment voucher when using TaxCaddy.com on your PC, Mac, or tablet.

Follow these steps to delete a tax payment voucher from the
Tax Payments
 screen.
  1. Sign in to TaxCaddy.com
  2. Select
    Pay - Tax Payment(s)
     to view all tax payments that your tax professional has uploaded to your account.
    Select Pay - Tax Payments
  3. Your current tax year's tax payments will appear beside your
    Task List
     in the
    Tax Payments
     panel.

    If you're looking for a specific tax payment, select the
    Tax Payments
     tab to view tax payments belonging to other tax years.

  4. By default, your
    UNPAID
     tax payments will be displayed first. Select
    Paid
     to view tax payments that you've already paid or marked as paid.
    Select the Unpaid/Paid toggle
  5. Your tax payments will be sorted by due date. You will also see the tax return type, the
    DUE DATE
    ,
    PAYMENT NAME/TYPE
    ,
    AMOUNT
    , and
    PAYMENT OPTIONS
     information for each tax payment.

  6. Locate the tax payment voucher that you'd like to delete and select the
    Menu
    , then select
    Delete
    .
    Select the tax payment menu, then select Delete
    note
    The voucher can't be deleted once it has been marked as paid by you or your tax professional. The option to
    Delete
     won’t be available for this voucher.
  7. The
    Confirm Delete
     window will appear. Select
    YES
     to proceed with deletion.

    Deletion of vouchers from the
    Tax Payment
     list can't be restored. If a voucher is accidentally deleted, contact your tax professional to resubmit a new voucher with the same document.
    Select Yes to confirm the deletion
  8. Alternatively, you can also delete the document from the Document Viewer panel. When you have the file open for viewing, select
    DELETE
     to delete the voucher.
    Select DELETE
iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to delete your tax payment voucher on your iOS mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. Tax payment vouchers that your tax professional has uploaded to your account will appear on the
    Overview
     screen. Select
    Pay - Tax Payment(s)
     to open your tax payments.
    Select Pay - Tax Payments
    If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account, select the
    SELECT TAX RETURNS
     dropdown to view your available tax return profiles.
    Select SELECT TAX RETURN
    Alternatively, you can select
    More
    , then select
    Tax Payment
    .
    Select Menu then Tax Payment
  3. The
    All
     tax year option will be selected by default, listing payments spanning all tax years.

    If you'd like to see tax payments belonging to a specific tax year, select it from the
    Tax year
     dropdown.
    Select the tax year selector
  4. By default, your
    Unpaid
     tax payments will be displayed first. Select
    Paid
     to view tax payments that you've already paid or marked as paid. Tax payment vouchers that have already been paid should be marked as paid.
    Select the Unpaid/Paid toggle
  5. Select the
    Menu
     of the tax payment voucher you want to delete, then select
    Delete
     on the action sheet.
    Select Delete
    note
    The option to
    Delete
     won’t be available for vouchers that have already been marked as paid.
  6. Select
    Yes
     to proceed with deletion.
    Select Yes to confirm the deletion
Android mobile app
Follow these steps to delete your tax payment voucher on your Android mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. The
    Overview
     screen will list the tax payment vouchers that your tax professional has uploaded to your account. Select
    Pay - Tax Payment(s)
     to open your tax payments.
    Select Pay - Tax Payments
    If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account, select the
    SELECT TAX RETURNS
     dropdown to view your available tax return profiles.

  3. Alternatively, you can select
    Menu
    .
    Select the Android Menu icon
    Select
    Tax Payments
    .
    Select Tax Payments
  4. The
    All
     tax year option will be selected by default, displaying payments spanning all tax years.

    You can select from the
    Tax year
     dropdown to view payments for a specific year.
    Select the tax year selector
  5. By default, your
    Unpaid
     tax payments will be displayed first. Select
    Paid
     to view tax payments that you've already paid or marked as paid. Tax payment vouchers that have already been paid should be marked as paid.
    Select the UNPAID/PAID toggle
  6. Select the
    Menu
     corresponding to the tax payment voucher you want to download.
    Select the tax payment menu
  7. Select
    Delete
     to proceed with deletion.
    Select Delete

    The option to
    Delete
     won’t be available for vouchers that have already been marked as paid.
