Message your tax professional about your tax payment voucher

You can use the messages panel when viewing a tax payment voucher to message your tax professional about the payment. Doing so will create a new thread associated with that document in
Messages
.
TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac, or tablet
Follow these steps to message your tax professional regarding your tax payment voucher using TaxCaddy.com on your PC, Mac, or tablet.
  1. Sign in to TaxCaddy.com
  2. If your tax professional has uploaded a tax payment voucher to your account, you can select
    Pay - Tax Payment(s)
    to view these payment vouchers.
    Select Pay - Tax Payments
  3. Your tax payments for the current tax year will appear in the
    Tax Payments
    panel beside your
    Task List
    .
    note
    If you don't see a certain tax payment, select the
    Tax Payments
    tab (from the top navigation bar) to view tax payments belonging to other tax years.

  4. Select a listed tax payment voucher to view the tax payment document attached.

  5. Select
    Message
    to open the
    Messages
    panel for the selected tax payment document.
    note
    The title of the selected tax payment will appear at the top of the
    Messages
    panel.
    Select the Message icon
  6. On the
    Messages
    panel, enter your message into the textbox, then select
    SEND
    . Your tax professional's reply appears in the thread on this panel. The message thread is also accessible from the
    Messages
    page on the navigation panel.
    Enter your message then select SEND
  7. Alternatively, when viewing a tax payment voucher in the
    Tax Payments
    tab you can use the
    Messages
    panel.
    Enter your message then select SEND
iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to message your tax professional regarding your tax payment voucher on your iOS mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. Tax payment vouchers that have been uploaded to your account will appear on the
    Overview
    screen. Select
    Pay - Tax Payment(s)
    to open your tax payments.
    Select Pay - Tax Payments
    Alternatively, you can select
    More
    on the navigation tab then select
    Tax Payments
    .
    Select Menu then Tax Payment
  3. You will see tax payments spanning all tax years.

    The
    All
    tax year option will be selected by default. If you'd prefer to see tax payments belonging to a specific tax year, select it from the
    Tax year
    menu.
    Select the tax year selector
  4. Select
    PAID
    to see tax payments you've already paid. Select
    UNPAID
    to see tax payments that need to be paid (selected by default). If you have already paid a tax payment voucher, then you or your tax professional can mark the tax payment as paid.
    Select the Unpaid/Paid toggle
  5. You will see a list of tax payment vouchers that your tax professional has uploaded. Select the tax payment voucher you want to view.

  6. The payment voucher will open in the viewer. Select
    Messages
    .
    Select the Message icon in the document viewer
  7. Enter your message and select
    Send
    to send your message.
    Enter your message then select SEND
Android mobile app
Follow these steps to message your tax professional regarding your tax payment voucher on your Android mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. Tax payment vouchers that have been uploaded to your account will appear on the
    Overview
    screen. Select
    Pay - Tax Payment(s)
    to open your tax payments.
    Select Pay - Tax Payments
    Alternatively, you can select
    Menu
    .
    Select the Android Menu icon
    Select
    Tax Payments
    .
    Select Tax Payments
  3. You will see tax payments grouped by due date.

    The
    All
    tax year option will be selected by default. If you'd like to see tax payments belonging to a specific tax year, select it from the
    Tax year
    menu.

  4. Select
    PAID
    to see tax payments you've already paid. Select
    UNPAID
    to see tax payments that need to be paid (selected by default). If you have already paid a tax payment voucher, then you or your tax professional can mark the tax payment as paid.
    Select the UNPAID/PAID toggle
  5. Select the tax payment voucher you want to view.
    Select a tax payment voucher
  6. Tax payment voucher will open in the viewer. Select
    Messages
    .
    Select the Message icon in the document viewer
  7. Enter your message and select
    Send
    to send your message.
    Enter your message then select Send
