Delete a tax return

You can delete a tax return if you want to remove it from your account.
TaxCaddy.com on PC, Mac, or tablet
Follow these steps to delete a tax return when using TaxCaddy.com on your PC, Mac, or tablet.
  1. Sign in to TaxCaddy.com
  2. Select
    Tax Returns
    .
    Select Tax Returns from the navigation bar
  3. If your tax professional has created a 1041 tax return profile, select a different from the
    TAX RETURN
     menu.
    Select from the TAX RETURN drop-down menu
  4. Select the
    Menu
     of the return you want to delete.
    Select the tax return document menu
  5. Select
    Delete
    .
    Select Delete
  6. Select
    Yes
     on the
    Confirm Delete
     window.
    Select Yes to confirm the tax return deletion
iOS mobile app
Follow these steps to delete a tax return on your iPhone mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. Tap
    Tax Returns
     on the tab bar.
    Select Tax Returns from the navigation bar
  3. Tap the tax year to view tax returns that belong to another tax year.

    If your tax professional has enabled 1041 tax return profiles on your account, tap the
    Tax Return
     dropdown to view your available tax return profiles.

    All
     will be selected by default. Select the tax return profile you want to view.
    Make a selection from the Select Tax Return menu
  4. Tap the
    Menu
     on the return you want to delete.
    Select the tax return document menu
  5. Tap
    Delete
    .
    Select Delete
Android mobile app
Follow these steps to delete a tax return on your Android mobile phone app.
  1. Sign in to the TaxCaddy mobile app.
  2. Tap the
    Menu
    , then tap
    Tax Returns
    .
    Select the Menu icon, then select Tax Returns
  3. Tap the
    Menu
     on the return you want to delete.
    Select the Tax Return document menu
  4. Tap
    Delete
    .
    Select Delete
