AL40NR-923 e-file error
Acceptance Validation: //ns:ReturnState/ns:AuthenticationHeader/ns:SpsDrvrLcnsOrStateIssdIdGrp/ns:DrvrLcnsNum: 'Driver's License Number must be present (Spouse).' (rule AL40NR-923).
You'll get this error when driver's license information is missing for the spouse.
Solution
- Go to the Federal input.
- Select the Electronic Filing folder.
- Select theIDAuthtab.
- If theForm of identificationfield for the spouse doesn't have a1for Driver's License, you need to file the return on paper according to the state of Alabama.
- If the field should have a1for Driver's License, correct it, then recreate and retransmit the return.
