F1040-264 e-file error

If in [OtherIncomeTypeStatement] present in the return, 'OtherIncomeLitCd' has the value "FORM 2555", then Form 2555 must be present in the return. (value FORM 2555, rule F1040-264)
You'll get this error when you need to include Form 2555 for the return.

Solution

  1. Go to the 2555 screen in the Foreign Exclusion folder.
  2. Enter the
    Employer's name
     and
    Employer's address
    .
  3. Re-create and retransmit the e-file.
