F1040-287-01 e-file error
If in [OtherTaxStatement] present in the return, 'OtherTaxLitCd' has the value "LIHCR", then Form 8611 must be present in the return.
If there's a recapture of the Low-Income Housing Credit present on the return, you need to complete Form 8611, Recapture of Low-Income Housing Credit.
Solution
- Go to Form 8611 in the Non Calculating folder.
- Complete data entry for Form 8611.
- You can include up to 5 units of Form 8611 in the e-file. The combined Lines 14 need to equal the Low-Income Housing Credit Recapture.
- Re-create and retransmit the e-file.
