F1099R-002-01 e-file error

If Form 1099-R has a US Address in the Payer Address, then 'StateAbbreviationCd' must have a value. (rule F1099R-002-01)

You'll get this error if the ZIP Code included on a Form 1099R doesn't match the state.

Go to the 1099R screen in the Retirement folder.

For each unit, review the Zip Code
and State
fields.

ZIP Codes need to be valid for the state on the 1099R.

Recreate and retransmit the return.
