F2120-002-01 e-file error

Form 2120, 'QualifyingPersonName' must be equal to one of the Dependent's name in 'DependentDetail' of the return. (rule F2120-002-01)

You'll get this error when the name of a qualifying relative isn't listed as a dependent.

Go to the 1040 screen in the General folder.

In the Dependent information
statement, enter the qualifying relative with the correct Dependent code
.

Go to the 2120 screen in the General folder.

Select the dependent again in the Name of qualifying relative
field.

Recreate and retransmit the return.
