F2441-010 e-file error

Form 2441, Part II, Line 2(b), each 'QualifyingPersonSSN' must not be the same as another 'QualifyingPersonSSN' in Part II, Line 2(b) of the same Form 2441.
You'll get this error if there's a duplicate Social Security number (SSN) on Form 2441.

Solution

  1. Go to the 1040 screen in the General folder.
  2. Review the SSN entered for each dependent in the
    Dependent information
     field.
  3. Go to the Cr screen in the Credits folder.
  4. Make sure none of the dependents are duplicated in the
    Provider information
     field.
  5. Recreate and retransmit the return.
