If Form 3468, 'OtherCertifiedHistStrctrCrAmt' has a non-zero value, then 'NPSProjectNum' or 'PassThroughEntityEIN' must be present.

If the return has investment credits entered on the 3468 screen in a K1 1065, 1120S activity:

Go to the K1 screen in the K1 1065, 1120S folder.

Review the EIN
entered for the K1. You need to enter a valid EIN to take the credit.

If there are multiple K1 activities with investment credits, review the EIN
for each activity.

If the return has investment credits entered on the 3468 screen in the Credits folder:

Go to the 3468 screen in the Credits folder.

Open the Qualified rehabilitation expenditures certified historic structures
statement.

Complete the NPS Project Number
field.

Recreate and retransmit the return.
