F8594-001-01 e-file error
If Form 8594, Line 6 'PrchsOrEntrAgrmtWithSellrInd' has a choice of "Yes" indicated, then "Form 8594 Consideration Computation Statement " [ConsiderationComputationStatement] must be attached to Line 6. (rule F8594-001-01)
You'll get this error message if there's missing information for the buyer and seller agreement.
Solution
- Go to the 8594 screen in the Other With Return folder.
- Enter details in theBuyer and seller agreement entered into and maximum amount of consideration paidstatement.
- Recreate and retransmit the return.
