F8621-026-02 e-file error

F8621, 'PFICOrQEFEIN' or 'ForeignEntityReferenceIdNum' must have a value.
You'll get this error message if you didn't enter a reference ID number or EIN for Form 8621.

Solution

  1. Go to the 8621 screen in the Other With Return folder.
  2. Enter a
    Reference ID number
     or an
    EIN
    .
  3. Recreate and retransmit the return.
