FPYMT-071-01 e-file error
'RequestedPaymentDt' in the IRS Payment Record must not be more than 5 days prior to the received date. (rule FPYMT-071-01)
You get this error if the payment date is more than 5 days before the IRS received the e-file.
Solution
Go to the ELF screen in the Electronic filing folder and change the
Requested payment date
. Don't put a date more than 5 days before you plan to re-transmit the return. We recommend you put the date you plan to re-transmit the return. After you change the date, recreate the e-file and transmit the return.
