If 'PINTypeCd' in the Return Header has the value "Self-Select Practitioner" and 'PrimaryBirthDt' has a value, then 'PrimaryPriorYearAGIAmt' or 'PrimaryPriorYearPIN' or 'IdentityProtectionPIN' must have a value. (value, rule IND-026-02)Solution

Solution

  1. Go to the
    PIN
     screen, in the
    Electronic Filing
     folder.
  2. Check the information entered in
    Prior Year PIN
     and
    Prior Year AGI
    .
  3. Re-create and retransmit the return.
tip
You can use the Practitioner PIN Program filer method as an alternative to entering the Prior Year PIN and Prior Year AGI.
