IND-034-02 e-file error

The year of 'SpouseDeathDt' must not be less than 'TaxYr' in the Return Header. (rule IND-034-02).

You'll get this error if Date of death
for the spouse is before the current tax year.

Go to the

1040

screen, in the General
folder.

Review the Date of Death
for the spouse.

If incorrect, correct it, then re-create and retransmit the return.

If correct, you'll need to paper file the return.
