R0000-008 e-file error
Acceptance Validation: 'The Employer's State ID Number (Box 15), State Wages (Box 16), and State Income Tax (Box 17) are required on Form W-2 and Form W-2G.'
North Dakota needs the employer's state ID number on the W-2 and W-2G forms included with the return.
Solution
- Go to the federal W2 or W2G screen in the Income folder.
- For W2s, enter the employer's state ID number in theState ID numberfields.noteTheState ID numberfield you need to complete depends on the position of your ND state information in Box 15 on the W2 screen.
- For W-2Gs, complete thePayer's state ID no.field.
- Recreate the e-file, and retransmit the return.
