S2-F1040-394 e-file error
Schedule 2 (Form 1040), 'FirstTimeHmByrRepaymentAmt' must not be greater than the First-Time Homebuyer Credit amount in the e-File database.
You'll get this error message if the IRS e-file database has a different First-Time Homebuyer Credit on file for this taxpayer or spouse.
Solution
- File the return on paper.
