SC-F1040-007 e-file error

If Schedule C (Form 1040) Line 33c checkbox 'OtherClosingInventoryMethodInd' is checked, then "Other Method Used To Value Closing Inventory Statement" [OtherMethodUsedToValueClosingInventoryStatement] must be attached. (rule SC-F1040-007)

Solution

  1. Go to the C screen, in the
    Business
     folder.
  2. Enter an explanation in the
    If other, attach explanation
     statement.
  3. In the
    Form
     view, go to Schedule C.
  4. Delete any overrides on Schedule C.
  5. Recreate and retransmit the return.
