SD-F1040-006 e-file error

Schedule D (Form 1040), Line 1b(h) 'TotalGainOrLossAmt' must be equal to the attached Form 8949, Part I, Line 2(h) 'TotalGainOrLossAmt' with checkbox A 'TransRptOn1099BThatShowBssInd' checked. (rule SD-F1040-006)

Solution

  1. Verify there are no overrides on the return related to Schedule D and Form 8949.
  2. Complete any data entry needed on the B&D screen, in the
    Income
     folder.
  3. Recreate and retransmit the return.
