Enter rental percentages for specific rental expenses
Do the following to indicate the rental percentage for 1 or 2 rental expenses without overriding on the form.
- Choose 1 of the following force options regarding rental percentages:
- You can use thePersonal use percentage (Force)field to override the calculated percent on all expenses except advertising and management fees.
- You can apply a different percentage to only 1 expense with thePercentagefields, which are next to the amounts in the Rent screen.notePercentagefields are provided for each expense and are used to force a specific percentage. Use these fields if you want to report less than 100 percent of advertising or management fees.
