Partnership Schedule K-1, line 18, code A - Tax-exempt interest income

The amount reported on line 18, code A should be a component of tax-exempt interest reported on Form 1040, Schedule 1, line 2a. Follow these steps to enter the amount.
  1. Go to the K1 Screen in the K1 1065, 1120S folder.
  2. Open the
    Interest
     statement.
  3. Enter the amount in the Tax Exempt Amount column.
