Create a custom paragraph for a Form 8379 transmittal letter

You can include Form 8379 information in the transmittal letter by selecting a custom paragraph.

To use this custom paragraph on a client basis, open the

Letter

screen and select Form 8379 (TL)
in the Paragraph Description
field.

To print this custom paragraph for all clients:

Select Setup
, then 1040 Individual
.

Select either Transmittal Letter
or Filing Instructions
in the Federal
tab.

Select the Custom Paragraphs
tab, and mark the Form 8379 (TL)
checkbox.
