Form 1099-C data entry
To enter information from Form 1099-C, Cancellation of Debt, you can either use Source Data Entry or use the 1099-C Facsimile section of the
1099C
screen. The fields in this section are similar to the form.You can find the 1099C screen in the following folders:
- Income
- Business
- Rent & Royalty
- Farm
- Farm Rental
Be sure to enter the Form 1099-C information in the correct folder and unit. For example, if the Form 1099-C is related to a Schedule C business, enter it on the
1099C
