To report a partner's portion of the educational assistance benefits on Schedule E, Line 28, follow these steps.

Go to the K1 1065, 1120S
folder.

Open the

Other deductions

statement window.

Enter the amount into the

K1-3

screen.

You can enter an amount of up to $5,250.

If there is any amount of the educational assistance benefits exceeding $5,250, you can enter the amount on Form 8863.

Go to the

Educate

screen, in the Educate
folder.

Enter the amount into the

Eligible student information

statement window.
