Form 5471 doesn't generate
If Form 5471 or one of its schedules doesn't generate, the category of filer is probably incorrect. Go to the
5471
screen in the 5471
folder. Check the Category of filer
field. If no category of filer is selected, Form 5471 won't generate. For more information on the categories of filers, refer to IRS publication Form 5471 instructions.
The category of filer is also used to determine which schedules generate. Only the schedules required for the category of filer selected generate, regardless of any other information in the 5471 input screens.
