Generate Form 8938

You have to use Form 8938 to report foreign financial assets, even if you also have to file FinCent Form 114.

In the 8938 screen in the Foreign Bank & Asset
folder, enter

X

in the appropriate field in the Form 8938 - General Information section.

Go to Foreign Bank & Asset
and select the

8938

screen.

Complete the information in the Form 8938 - General Information section.

Complete any other fields on this screen.

Go to the

8938-2

or

FrgnAcct

screen in the Foreign Bank & Asset
folder.

Enter financial information for Parts I, II, V, and VI.

note

You can use the

FrgnAcct

screen to enter information for both Form 8938 and FinCEN Form 114.
