Export 1040 client data into Planner CS
To export UltraTax/1040 client data into Planner CS:
- In UltraTax CS, selectFile,Opento open the 1040 client whose data you want to export into Planner CS.
- From the Utilities menu, selectPlanner CS (Export)to export the UltraTax/1040 client's data into Planner CS.noteThe Planner CS (Export) command appears in the Utilities menu only if you have installed the application locally or have run the desktop setup on this computer.
- Planner CS will open automatically once the UltraTax/1040 client data has been exported. TheImport Client Datawindow opens, where you can choose to export to a new plan or to an existing plan. Do 1 of the following:
- To create a new plan with this ID, selectOK.
- To import to an existing plan, select theExisting Planto open the Import toExisting Planwindow.
noteIf the data you're exporting from UltraTax CS has the same client ID as an existing plan in Planner CS,Existing Planis selected by default on theImport Client Datawindow.Once you selectOK, the plan will open in Planner CS.
