Solution
To clear this diagnostic, you'll need to review your data entry for each line entered in the Dividend statement on the
B&D
screen within the Income folder and follow these steps.If Sec 1250 + Sec 1202 + 28% Cap Gain is greater than Total Capital Gain, you must correct the data entry so the sum of these fields is less than the total capital gains.
If the total capital gains is a negative value, you'll need to change the amount to a positive value and select
3 Nominee Distribution
from the Type code
dropdown.
