Enter consolidated 1099 as a whole
A broker provides consolidated broker statements, which include sections for 1099-INT, 1099-OID, 1099-DIV, and 1099-B on a single statement.
In UltraTax CS, you can enter a consolidated broker tax statement by entering the entire consolidated statement together, or by entering each section of the form separately.
Use the
Broker
screen to enter 1099 data together in 1 statement.- Go to theIncomeinput folder.
- Select theBrokerscreen.
- Enter theEIN,Payer's name, andAccount number.
- Complete the rest of the fields on this screen as needed. If you have multiple consolidated 1099 broker statements, add a new unit for each payer.
note
If you enter the same information in 2 different screens, the amounts on the return will be double. Delete any duplicate information from the other screen or skip entering the amounts on this screen.
