Enter private activity bond dividend income

Do the following to enter private activity bond (PAB) dividend income or 1099-DIV Box 12 amounts.

Go to the

B&D

or

Broker

screen in the Income
folder. The type of income, interest, or dividend, will determine where to enter the income amount.

Open the Dividend income
statement window.

Enter the amount in the AMT Exempt Div (PAB)
column.

note

Because they're exempt from regular tax, PAB interest amounts will only transfer over to Form 6251.
