Enter private activity bond interest income

Do the following to enter private activity bond (PAB) interest income or 1099-INT Box 9 amounts.

Go to the

B&D

or

Broker

screen in the Income
folder. The type of income, interest, or dividend, will determine where to enter the income amount.

Open the Interest income
statement window.

Enter the amount in the AMT Int Income (PAB)
column.

Because they're exempt from regular tax, PAB interest amounts will only transfer over to Form 6251.
